Not much is stated in Scripture as to where Eve and Adam got their at-least kindergarten, grade-school-equivalent, or more verbal word-communication knowledge. One of the first references of God speaking words to Adam and Adam himself speaking words for the first time is recorded in the second chapter of Genesis of The HOLY BIBLE, then Eve speaking for the first time (to Satan) in Genesis chapter three.
The words: "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying...." obviously implies use of spoken, or verbal, words....rather than silent communication by direct thought transfer only. That further necessitates Adam being able to understand those verbal words spoken by the LORD and him of course relating those words to physical-environment objects and actions. Whether God taught Eve directly what He taught Adam, or instead taught Eve indirectly through Adam her husband, is not known. We do have record of God Himself fingering the Hebrew words in Sinai mountain stone for His people, and corresponding associative verbal elaboration later on:
Exodus 31:18 And He gave to Moses, when He had made an end of speaking with him upon Mount Sinai, the two tables of the testimony, tables of stone, written with The Finger of God.
Numbers 7:89 And when Moses went into the tent of meeting to speak with the LORD, he heard The Voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was upon the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim; and It spoke to him.
Deuteronomy 9:10 And the LORD gave me the two tables of stone written with The Finger of God; and on them were all the words which the LORD had spoken with you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly.
Nowadays, most of us wear glasses to read words, and from a worldly and godless perspective, bigoted prejudices and misunderstandings about genuine Christianity and the Christians espousing such, abound.
To disbelievers observing through lenses of rebellion and doubt, the holiday celebrations of Church Christians are thought of with distorted presumptions....merely allegorical fables.
They see Christmas as a relaxed warm and fuzzy vacation holiday to give presents to babies and mommies - sort of like suggested in the biblical nativity legend. It is a positive and cozy time for families to get together around a barnyard tree, like in the ancient fable. Child supremacists and feminists are exalted, being that (to them) an allegedly-virgin woman was able to get herself pregnant without participation of a man, and birth a baby while adoring men worshipped from a distance -- thus putting the inferior gender on a far higher pedestal of importance than any male human. At yuletide, babies rule and are the center of attention, like in the religious reference to the cradle spotlighted around peaceful cows and sheep quietly munching away to the delight of environmental animal worshippers, with bright astronomical silent stars overhead in astrological arrangements overlooking the pleasant pastoral scene.
The latter part of Holy Week - in repulsive contrast - is a dark and negative time to rather ignore.....being that the legend alludes to hatred, traitors, lynching, violence, lying and dishonest slander, blasphemy accusations, murder, humiliation, gore, blood, death, and burial. Engrained within such is the bizarre John-chapter-6-repeated blurbilization of an irate Jesus again mouthing the eucharist-based eat-My-flesh-and-drink-My-blood mantra expressing His extreme irritation for being simply regarded as a mere mobile grocery store with the potential of relentlessly feeding the puffed-up bellies of more than the 4000 and 5000 He did feed the faces of with Cana wine, desert bread and fish, etc.
Easter and beyond is great for the feminists again, who are first to compensate injust execution against a radically-disruptive but wonder-working rabbi with compensatory hallucinations of angel and supposedly-risen voodoo-like phantom appearances of the "now you see me, now you don't" christ -- without any further tales of any more unusual healings, weather-control, water-manipulation, food-multiplying miracles, or axiom-dissertation lectures.
But through the lens of Biblical "faith" (which the worldly would mis-call "childish" "gullibility" and "immature" "supposition"), the Text of what-bonafide-openminded-scientists-who-simply-cannot-deny Bible verses gives a very different perspective on the irrefutable historical accounts previously mentioned.
It is not unusual for those immoral majority destined for damnation to describe Scriptural facts exactly the opposite of authentic Christian descriptions. For instance, the wicked see the wearing of very-modest fundamentalist-islamic shawl-and-robe burkas and hijab costumes as "degrading against women" and anyone disregarding warm-weather immodest women as impolite and disrespectful.....whereas true Christians pseudo-rudely and of-necessity turn away from and ignore warm-weather immodest women, and consider women being degraded when persuaded, incited, or coerced by pervert-peer-pressure enslavement to immodest insanity involving subtle or blatant exhibition or flaunting of loose-long-haired mopheadedness, or warm-weather naked-armed sleeveslessness, nude-legged slackslessness or shortened-skirtedness, and shameful soxlessness (particularly while striking the soles of their bare feet against flip-flop sandals while walking).
Many times, particularly during warm weather, human males can avoid sexual-harassing partial-nakedness sights of somewhat-indecently-exposed human females by merely not being around where those females temporarily are located:
Isaiah 26:20 Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the wrath is past.
Even if one or more decently-dressed women are with one immodest one in a group, a virgin-minded man typically cannot approach and converse with any of them because of the one or more who are indecently mis-attired - which immodest one has spoiled the whole group.....even if one or all of those in the group claim to be christian:
Proverbs 13:20 He who walks with wise men (e.g. modest women) becomes wise, but the companion of [immodestly-misattired female] fools will suffer harm.
First Corinthians 3:1 But I, brethren, could not address you as spiritual men (e.g. human females), but as men of the [warm-weather mopheaded/bare-armed/legged/footed] flesh, as [despicably-immature-and-idiot non-approachable] babies.....
Honest people will agree that years ago, in a puritan pilgrim society (and listen up, Hugh Hefner!) where our not-so-distant, large-families-producing, controlled-nudity-with-laser-like-precision ancestors wore the equivalent of amish, fundamentalist-islamic, or old-order catholic-nun costumes (and how were such clothed or not while so producing large families?), men were at lot friendlier and more at ease to general-public-view women, compared to the present body-parts-bared dispersed-partial-nudity-in-the-general-public-view-gutters luridity now prevalent:
Matthew 24:12 And because [female-immodesty] wickedness is multiplied, most men's love will grow cold.
Speaking of previously-mentioned glasses, lenses, and eyesight, both the weakness of fuzzy-view-at-a-distance near-sightedness or simply closing one's eyelids safely and temporarily can be a saving strength to avoid observing obnoxiously-immodest mopheaded, bare-armed/legged/footed sexual harassment and lewd conduct which many women impose against human males at large, particularly during warm weather. When the lascivious partial nudity of those women is accidentally seen through near-sightedness, those exposed female body parts look like decomposing fish dead on a beach or belly up floating in the water, thus detracting from their sensuously-enticing potential:
Isaiah 42:19 Who is blind but my servant, or deaf as my messenger whom I send? Who is blind as my dedicated one, or blind as the servant of the LORD?
Second Corinthians 12:10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities; for when I am [near-sighted or eyelids-closed] weak, then I am [moral-chastity] strong.
Revelation 22:11 Let the [mentally-sick exhibitionist-female] evildoer still do evil, and the [warm-weather immodest] filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy."
Biblical answers to: "Who is to blame for incitement to fornication and adultery: the near-sighted man who does not take off his corrective lenses but views sharply-focused sights of indecently-exposed women imposing their bared-body-parts insanity at a distance....or the women who are shoving the non-asked-for feces of their mopheaded and/or sleevesless/slacksless/soxless violation against chaste and sensible anti-indecent-conduct statutes at victimized men, is found in:
First Timothy 2:8 I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling;
9 also that women should adorn themselves modestly and sensibly in decent apparel....
Matthew 18:9 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and throw it away; it is better for you to enter life with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into the hell of fire.
Mark 9:47 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell.
Luke 11:34 Your eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is sound, your whole body is full of light; but when it is not sound, your body is full of darkness.
Romans 14:21 it is right not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything [like a female human displaying whatever mopheaded or bare-armed/legged/footed immodesty she wants to general public view] that makes your brother stumble.
There is a certain abhorrent and injust one-sidedness committed by "Chris Hanson" of Dateline aired by MSNBC, who have young-teen and pretend-young-teen solicitors set up gullible men internetting on chat lines to fornicate at some traphouse surrounding by vice cops ready to maliciously pounce on set-up male "predators." The sometimes-immodest nefarious females (or female fakes) who set up such "predators" along with Chris Hanson and his TV crew who set them up are actually just as much to blame for entrapment as the sexually-hungry "predator" men who have absolutely no intention of forcing any-aged female humans against their will to participate in voluntary fornication. Similar is the situation with police pretending to not be police using non-marked squad cars. The LORD will compensate against such creepy sneaks and the injustice they impose.
Ephesians 5:3 But fornication and all impurity (e.g. warm-weather immodesty) or covetousness must not even be named (e.g. suggested during webchat or whatever) among you, as is fitting among saints.
Christians (C) have their Be-Attitudes, while Accursed (A) have their Bad-Attitudes:
C: Matthew 5:3 = "Blessed are the humble, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
A: Alternative = Blessed are the proudly boisterous, for theirs is prompt and obvious wealth and fame.
C:Mt 5:4 = "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."
A: Alternative = Blessed are they who are arrogantly stoic, then laugh it off, for no one can make them sad; Cursed are the depressed and forlorn, for they are headed toward anti-social introversion and suicide.
C:Mt 5:5 = "Blessed are the compliantly accommodating, for they shall inherit the earth."
A: Alternative = Blessed are the self-assertive and pushy, for they shall connive and conquer for themselves what others have.
C:Mt 5:6 = Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied."
A: Alternative = Blessed are those who learn to manipulate all the tricky angles of devious weaselword semantics, for they persuade the simplistic with shrewd cunning.
C:Mt 5:7 = "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy."
A: Alternative = Blessed are those who revile and hit back when insulted or cheated, so they get cherished revenge; Cursed are the merciful, for they will get slapped silly into the ground without defensively retaliating.
C:Mt 5:8 = "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."
A: Alternative = Blessed are those who seek porn and display their warm-weather bodies for jealous admiration by others, for they shall see even more sensuous pleasures; Cursed are the prudes, who think all sex is dirty.
C:Mt 5:9 = "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God."
A: Alternative = Blessed are the no-wimp brawlers, crowd agitators, and trouble-makers, for they shall be called non-pussy tough guys.
C:Mt 5:10 = "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
A: Alternative = Blessed are those who get away with all types of criminal acts, for they rule the courts and the neighborhood communities.
C:Mt 5:11 = "Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account."
A: Alternative = Cursed are you when you are so goody-goody that people think you're some kind of religious-nutcase holy saint.
Recently, a conservative philosophical talk-show host asked his radio audience the question: "Are there any good people around?"
After all, most everyone [obediently?] dresses modestly in subzero frigid temperatures outdoors during a severe winter blizzard. Most everyone [obediently?] drives on the right side of the road on a two-lane highway. Most everyone [obediently?] breathes air and relieves themselves now and then in lavatories, plus admitting that they neither see the invisible Almighty God the Creator nor gravity nor microwaves nor radioactivity while they assert existence of the dark side of Pluto.
Are they all thus obediently good people?
NO! is the answer. Definitely not!
The righteous have the following mentality:
Romans 7:15 I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.
17 So then it is no longer I who do it, but sin which resides within me.
18 For I know that nothing good resides within me, that is, in my flesh. I can will what is right, but I cannot do it.
19 For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I do.
20 Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin which resides within me.
21 So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand.
22 For I delight in the law of God, in my inmost self,
23 but I see in my members another law at war with the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin which resides in my members.
24 Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?
25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I of myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.
The wicked (in stark contrast) have the following immentality:
Alterative 15 I do not understand my own actions, for I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.
Alterative 17 So then it is no longer I who do it, but good which resides around me.
Alterative 18 For I know that to be my own boss and do my own thing resides within me, that is, in my flesh. I can will what is illegal, but I cannot do it.
Alterative 19 For I do not do the crimes I want, but the good I do not want is what I do.
Alterative 20 Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but godliness which resides around me.
Alterative 21 So I find it to be a law that when I want to do wrong, good lies close at hand.
Alterative 22 For I delight in breaking the law, in my inmost self,
Alterative 23 but I see in my members another law at war with the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of good which resides in my members.
Alterative 24 Oppressed man that I am! Who will deliver me from the influences of being lawfully obedient?
Alterative 25 Thanks be to my wayward buddies through Satan my Master! So then, I of myself serve being bad to the bone with my mind, but with my flesh I reluctantly obey the goody-goody laws to not get arrested which would prevent me from cutting my diabolical shenanigans short of hurting as many victims as possible in my defiant selfishness.
As you can readily perceive, there are two types of "good" people:
(1) Those who are artificially good (and there are many many of them around).
(2) Those who are intrinsically good (and there are a very few of them around).
Most [selfishly-motivated] drivers angrily stop quickly at a red stoplight in irritation and impatience because it disrupted their hurried rushy schedules and by forced requirement keep them from colliding with cross-traffic which mandate keeps them from getting themselves injured and/or their own vehicle damaged by a serious inconvenient and expensive and time-consuming and police-reported accident......while a few stop at a red stoplight in benevolent understandable kindness and thoughtfulness to politely allow patiently-waiting cross-traffic to get their chance to move forward.
In other words, some love to be good because they are internally good themselves (because of their voluntary and willing complete submission to God and His Word, who have claimed Christ's perfect righteousness as the source of their own, which perfection in the Lord is then indeed imputed to them)......while most hate to be good because they are internally evil themselves:
Second Corinthians 9:7 Each one must do as he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Philemon 1:14 but I preferred to do nothing without your consent in order that your goodness might not be by compulsion but of your own free will.
Psalm 32:9 Be not like a horse or a mule, without understanding, which must be curbed with bit and bridle, else it will not keep with you.
Proverbs 26:3 A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the back of fools.
To distinguish in sacred discrimination who is artificially good apart from who is intrinsically good requires Spirit-led discretion and discernment:
First Corinthians 12:7 To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
8 To one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit,
9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,
10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
Colossians 2:8 See to it that no one makes a prey of you by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the universe, and not according to Christ.
20 If with Christ you died to the elemental spirits of the universe, why do you live as if you still belonged to the world? Why do you submit to regulations,
First Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by giving heed to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,
Temporal judgment, even in view of "Judge not, lest you be judged," is not only possible, but commanded:
Luke 12:57 And why do you not judge for yourselves what is right?
First Corinthians 3:13 each man's work will become manifest; for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done.
First Corinthians 10:15 I speak as to sensible men; judge for yourselves what I say.
Second Corinthians 2:9 For this is why I wrote, that I might test you and know whether you are obedient in everything.
2Cor 8:2 for in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of liberality on their part.
2Cor 9:13 Under the test of this service, you will glorify God by your obedience in acknowledging the gospel of Christ, and by the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others;
2Cor 13:5 Examine yourselves, to see whether you are holding to your faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? --unless indeed you fail to meet the test!
2Cor 13:7 But we pray God that you may not do wrong -- not that we may appear to have met the test, but that you may do what is right, though we may seem to have failed.
Galatians 6:4 But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor.
First Thessalonians 5:21 but test everything; hold fast what is good,
James 1:12 Blessed is the man who endures trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life which God has promised to those who love him.
FIrst John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are of God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
You might recall the story of the prodigal son and the awaiting father which Jesus told. At first the deviant son departed to descend to a pigpen lifestyle, but eventually repented, similar to not only the penitent dying thief on a cross, but also:
Matthew 21:28 "What do you think? A man had two sons; and he went to the first and said, 'Son, go and work in the vineyard today.'
29 And he answered, 'I will not'; but afterward he repented and went.
30 And he went to the second and said the same; and he answered, 'I go, sir,' but did not go.
31 Which of the two did the will of his father?" They said, "The first." Jesus said to them, "Truly, I say to you, the tax collectors and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.
32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the harlots believed him; and even when you saw it, you did not afterward repent and believe him.
Romans 14:13 Then let us no more pass judgment on one another, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.
First Corinthians 1:10 I appeal to you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree and that there be no dissensions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.
First Corinthians 4:5 Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then every man will receive his commendation [or condamnation?] from God.
